Is this someone you know - or just a fabulous quote you ran across?
I had an experience with this today. It was quite evident that the words and actions did not match at all, and so I wonder how I will hear and then believe the person's words next time.
I have been thinking about this quote a lot - so I hope you don't mind that I'm "borrowing" it to put on my blog as well. I just think it is fabulous, because it takes the old cliche of our words vs. actions - but takes it the step further that it should be. Sometimes I read things and think, "I'm so glad someone put into words what makes sense in my heart and head, and what I know to be true!" I hope that I have these two qualities work together more in my life - another golden quote to live by. Thanks!

ReplyDeleteActually, this was a quote I ran across while looking for something to share with my class. It turned out, this ended up being it!
I just hope that I can do better in all ways of making my words and actions synonymous.
