Moments with Joey - Hotness


SCENE 1, INTERIOR. AFTERNOON, FIFTH GRADE CLASSROOM. The teacher is entering grades during lunch recess. As he works, he is approached by a fifth grade boy who really should be working on missing assignments.

JOEY: I’m ten.

TEACHER: That’s great Joey…did you need anything?

[The boy thinks for a second].

JOEY: Nope. I’m ten.

TEACHER: Yeah, I used to be ten once, too…I used to be little and cute, and then I got big and ugly.

JOEY: Like me?

TEACHER: You’re big and ugly?

JOEY: No, Mr. Z. I’m hot.

[The boy stands for a second before breaking into song].

JOEY: ♫♪ Don’t cha wish ♪ yo teacha was hot like me ♫....

TEACHER: Yeah, I used to think I was funny once, too…

[Fade to black].
