Weekly Kodachrome - The Nephew


My students—all of the Joeys I’ve had through the years—will always hold a place in my heart. But there is something different about a kid who is your own nephew.

I met him for the first time.

There are those people who always claim that their nephews or nieces are the most adorable children simply because they’re their family. I’m not going to do that…but do I love this kid?

Heck. Yes.

    I think you can and very well should brag all you want to about your adorable, very cute, nephew. What a cutie pie. I love that red hair of his. I'm looking forward to seeing more photos of him...he's very photogenic.

    That incredible hair! Power to the fire in his hair! My son informed me that red heads are the true minority. I know they hold a special place in my heart.

    That is a whole bunch of red hair! At first I thought, why didn't he meet him until he was two? But then I realized some kids actually do have hair before they are two. Not in my family. Darling.

    There is something special about little ones that we can claim as our own, isn't there? I must admit I am a tad partial to my own nieces and nephews.

    So glad you got to meet and spend time with him.

    You're blessed to have such a cute nephew. He's blessed to have such an awesome uncle. :-)

    That hair looks magical.

    I think it may have superpowers.

    And those beautiful eyes. I love the purity seen in the eyes of an infant, as they marvel at the world around them. So beautiful.

    He is cute! We have a Joey. . . He's not a cute. Our Joey is 32 ~ But we do have a LOT! of red heads.
