Just Like the Ending Scene of a Movie

There are moments in life that - no matter what words we use - will never adequately convey the power of a moment.

This was one of those moments...



If I ever have a movie made about my life, I think that I want this to be the final scene.

    What a great way for your class to say thank you. The two boys on the end put a lot of feeling into signing. All of the kids did a great job.

    Ignore the email I sent you.. Watched this on IE... ok, that video got me going... yes, the power of kids is amazing... BTW the boy in the red shirt was getting into it... definitely feeling the song.. I think he was touched as well....:-) all that hard work pays off doesn't it?

    A touching outpouring of gratitude... what a powerful influence you are in the lives of those you teach. It was well-deserved.

    When you're having a tough day, watching something like this reminds you why you keep coming back.

    The most powerful part of the video was not the kids singing...
    It was you coming to them with your arms open at the end. I am sure that is just how you taught all year...with your "arms" wide open.

    My students made a video for me of my 9 years as Student Council Advisor as a thank you when I chose to step down from that position. I watch it from time to time & get that deep, warm, overwhelming feeling of awe when I do.
    It makes me think of the day when I meet my Savior face to face & I long to hear from Him, "well done my good & faithful servant".
    Well done Mr. Z - well done!

    That gave me chills. Seriously. Did you get tears in your eyes? And the boy on the end has quite the moves. I couldn't take my eyes of him. That was awesome.

    That made me pleasantly teary. :)

    If I know 5th graders at all, I would guess that the blonde/red shirted boy gave you fits for much of the year - and then made up for it with his cheerful enthusiasm at the end.
