No. I hadn’t.
Mostly because it simply wasn’t all that important to me. Why would I want to read about what my brother was doing rather than simply talk to him? To me it was pretty obvious which was the better of the two options. Plus also, I wasn’t even sure what a blog was back then.
I no longer feel this way; I have since come to the realization that it is through blogging that I am able to keep up with those I care about, and have even made some new friends I’d not ever have made if it weren’t for this literary medium.
So, what’s my point?
To be honest, I have no point…and therein lies the beauty of it…Welcome to blogging.

Nice cartoon. Just wanted to say thanks for the compliment the other day and the inspiration...
Totally feel you! This is my new way of keeping up on people that I don't see or talk to that much. Its nice to have that little window into their lives and make sure everyone is doing ok!
Blogging is my way of making friends that don't even know I'm their friend... as well as keeping up on the lives of friends who DO know I'm their friend. Plus it makes me feel like I'm getting some adult interaction. Can't put a price on that.
It certainly is my favorite reading material. I love relating to others and sharing moments.
I love reading your blog! It is my early morning reading or my evening wind-down time reading! You have a lot of good reads! Somtimes they really hit home. I really enjoy your blog. You are an amazing writer.

I blog for all the same reasons, but it is also very therapeutic for me. It's nice to have an outlet. If only I could get away with saying everything I really think...
Hi... I'm desperately trying to remember which of Graton's friends you are... but obviously you are the coolest one!... I've just jumped over to your blog from your comment on mine and I'm glad you stopped by... but I must say.. that this particular blog ... well ... did you write it for me?... I would have to say I've only been blogging for two months and I'm already feeling like.. don't talk to me until you've read the blog.. then we'll be on the same page.. in fact... I often tell my husband just that!
I feel that once I blog about something then EVERYONE should know about it since I "put it out there".
Shortly after I started blogging I sent out a large group e-mail telling friends and family about it and to read it to keep up with what's going on in my life. NO ONE showed up (from that e-mailing). Talk about feeling important. Blogs are an interesting place to reside.
and now the tables are turned. :)
Yea you wrote this like a bazillion years ago but I am just reading it for the first time. Love the cartoon. I don't talk to people unless they read my blog first. It cuts down on the small talk.
