SCENE 1, INTERIOR. AFTERNOON, CLASSROOM. The class has left for the day; the teacher is packing up his items to go. As he slides his computer into the case, a fifth grade boy ‘drives’ around the classroom on the teacher’s wheeled chair. He is making ‘vrooming’ noises as he does so.
JOEY: Are you driving home tonight, Mr. Z?
TEACHER: Yep.
JOEY: You know, if you wanted, I could drive you…
TEACHER: Wouldn’t you need a license to drive, Joey?
[The boy grins].
JOEY: Oh, I’ve got a license, Mr. Z.
TEACHER: Really?
JOEY: Yep, I got it when I was ten.
TEACHER: A license for what?
JOEY: Driving you crazy.
[Pause].
TEACHER: Yeah, isn’t that the truth…
[Fade to black].

Wow... he must have been in the same "driving" course as some of my students... lol.
Hehehe I read it as a wheel chair not a wheeled chair and though I missed something along the way.....
Ah Joey, can't wait to see who will be the new one next school year!
Joey never fails to put a smile on my face. :)
One thing you can be sure of about Joey...He ain't no dumby.

Ha ha! My boys have the same license. I think they're born with them.
