I was on Youtube the other day and I found something which I thought was amazingly cool and I just had to post it...okay, I'm a geek. I have to admit it...
What kid isn't there in the world that at one time wanted to have a lightsaber? I just think of just how much more amazing "Pirates" would have been with lightsabers as well...

chase LOVES this! "play the one with the 2 guys again...with the yellow one and the blue one." "this is my favorite thing ever--i love this!" and my personal fave--"are they both dead? go back to where they fight." aah...the connection between two star wars junkies.
from one geek to another:
Wow! So cool!
From a filmmaker's perspective: what time and talent it took to make this short film- all of those shots, and the special effects. I understand why the credits kept rolling- yup, alot of work went into that. What an imagination! I only wish that I had one of those things for real. My kids at school would follow directions the FIRST time, and my kids at home wouldn't give me any more lip. Heck, I could end complaining and whining all together...If only...
ROFL! They actually did a pretty good job on the Pirates one...
Jacs,
Somethings got to bring us all together, right?
Annette,
I was thinking the same thing as you...how many hours did they spend putting these things together? You know it must have been a LONG time!
I would love a lightsaber too, but I'd probably content myself with the Jedi mind-control powers too...
Miya,
I was pretty impressed with them too...a bit too much work for me though. I think I'd rather just enjoy watching others' work.
BTW, you can find a high-res. version of the first video here: http://stage6.divx.com/user/DorkmanScott/video/1137289/RvD2:-Ryan-vs--Dorkman-2
Ok, you're right.
#1 - You're right that you're a geek.
BUT...
#2 - You're also right that it is pretty amazing. Allen and I had to watch it 3 or 4 times, actually. Can you imagine the TIME that went into that thing? Pretty cool.
Gerb,
I had to watch it a couple of times as well and I just get more and more impressed each time I do.
