Pin It There are so many things I have to be thankful for. As I sit here up at Sundance yet again on a Sunday afternoon I am surrounded by the glory of God’s creation and find myself in awe of all of this beauty. How can one doubt His existence when we have all of these reminders? The elegant mountain stream as it cascades over stones, which become rounded by its continued rushing and flow. The call of birds in the Autumn-hemmed treetops. The smell of lazy smoke from bright, crackling flames burning the summer’s dried leaves…

That is the most beautiful picture of fall leaves! The colors are just WOW! How did you do that? I could frame that photo and hang it in my livingroom as art. Photography must be one of those "dreams" of yours, because you sure are good at it.

Isn't amazing that for all the art and architecture and beautiful things that man creates, it pales in comparison to the beauty that surrounds us every day- everything from the leaves on the ground to the sky at night. We merely attempt to capture or copy the true masterpiece.

Sorry to tell you but I didn't take that photo...I could have taken one even better than that, but I didn't.

However, most of the other shots on the site (minus Lindsay Lohan) are mine.

I think you're right when you talk about the beauty around us. I also just can't get enough of being in it!

Okay, so THAT pic. wasn't yours. Your other pictures are really great! I think your landscapes are my favorite.

Hey. I have an extra 'family friendly' blog now, since my DA one is a bit too colourful. Totally childproof, currently rated G and will never surpass a PG rating. I promise it won't have any naughty words!

Fall is my favorite time of year - mostly because I can wear sweaters and long sleeves again. But also because I love everything pumpkin and the fall colors creeping down the mountains. And Halloween!

Thanks...I love taking is awesome to be able to share the things I have seen with others.

I'll have to check it out tomorrow (kind of late tonight). I'd love to read up on what you've been up to!

I think we must have been friends in the life before this because I have to agree...Halloween is absolutely the greatest holiday of all time! Let's hear it for Autunm!

now you know i can be serious and thoughtful and all that but i feel so ...cheesy...but because i am feeling rather contemplative i'm going to give you my two fave quotes of all time. again..i think..
quote 1 (i swear my life is ruled by this quote)
finish each day and be done with it. you have done what you could, some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. tomorrow is a new day, you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to encumbered with your old nonsense. -emerson-
quote 2 (this one just describes my entire existence in 2 sentences!)
if a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away. -thoreau-
and one more for good measure...the happiest times in our lives do not come from personal possessions and wealth, but rather they come from our relationships with our family and friends.
(but a little wealth wouldn't hurt)

I love those two quotes. Now, if I can just apply them into my life...THAT would be a major accomplishment!

Thanks for...well, all of that stuff.
