The 20-20-20-20 Challenge

Pin It I recently decided to do a challenge.

Twenty feet. By
Twenty feet.
Twenty minutes.
Twenty images.

After I arrived at the destination I selected tonight I questioned if it were really a good place to take photos. At first I saw nothing but the sun blinding through the overpass and the sunflowers.

The rest came when I began to look a little bit deeper…

I took longer than 20 minutes.

These are amazing. Gritty and soft at the same time.

awesome!! Does it mean you failed the challenge if it took longer than twenty minutes? I'd have to vote no, not when the result is such fantastic work!

You did it again: You found beauty in a place that no one else would. Great shots!

Beautiful photos Mr. Z. I happen to love Freeway Photography - there's always many hidden treasures in the concrete jungle. (The sunflower shots are a given - they happen to be my favorite flower and are almost impossible to take a bad picture of!)

Wow! Great, as usual. It's all about the angles, isn't it?

You are simply amazing! When the boy comes home, I will need to hire you for some pics in his spiffy Marine uniform.

Talented for sure !

very cool - sounds like you aced this challenge to me...

good thing you didn't choose my living room (it's not 20 by 20 anyway) although I'm sure you'd find some way to make my laundry piles (all clean at least) look like art. at least until you saw me buried under them, then it becomes crime scene photography.

Good thing the area was only 20 by 20. If it was any bigger you may have gotten some of those bright orange plastic barrels... But then again, I'd bet you'd even make them look good.

Nice pics.

Wow! What wonderful captures of what would seem ordinary things. I love the first sun flower shot, wait, no, maybe the second. The expressway shot with the top of the mountain peaking in the back is way cool. Hard to pick a favorite. LOVE the lighting.

Beautiful! The architecture looks like Greece or Rome or something in that light! Great shots! And one shot of the flowers looks like one I took at my place a couple months ago. Great stuff!
