Today we ventured out to Los Lobos and saw not only the hole in the rock, but gargantuan waves, and sea lions frolicking in the water.
It. was. awesome.
We also went to the Monterey Aquarium to see all of that good stuff that lies under the ocean, only we didn't have to get wet to do it.
On Saturday we plan to head into the city yet again and visit the infamous Alcatraz Island. I've heard that there are quite the number of occurrences which happen at night; unfortunately, we'll be going during the daytime.
Bummer…

Oh how I want to visit that aquarium! Those jellyfish are amazing.
That is by far one of the best aquariums around. There is also a great diving spot in that area.
Grrr! There is a restaurant in China Town that I wish I could remember the name of....I'd send you there. Oh my goodness! It is to die for.
You have to go and get some sourdough bread and walk the pier eating the loaf hunk by hunk.
My sisters laughed at me because I bought a bunch of rope there on the pier at a shop that overlooks Alcatraz. Marine rope makes awesome bridles! :) They were busy buying trinkets and such....I bought rope.

Way to much fun...brings back memories. I need to do some traveling but doing it alone won't be the same.
