Great hall decorations. Your door monster is super ghoul (cool)! You keep your students thinking and learning and still enjoying the holidays. Very clever that you had the bats go up above the ceiling and back on the other wall. You definitely don't want to be on the bad side of the custodian! Can't wait to see your room AND your costume!
Ahh... the days when Halloween was "simple." I love the bats, though. It also looks like you have some fun projects that your students have been working on!
Excellent work on the hallway! Loved the shout-out to John and Allisha. I think your door monster turned out great! You've done some great activities with your class and made the holiday educational while still keeping it fun, which is not always an easy thing to do. Hope you were able to finish up your classroom and costume. Can't wait to hear which one you chose. Oh.... And excellent call on the smoke machine this year...lol.... Have a great All Hallow's Eve... And may the Great Pumpkin grant all your fondest wishes...:-)
I so LOVE what you did! But can't help myself, have to ask...How does all this fit into core curriculum and national standards ;o)jk,jk,jk... seems to be the only question we are aloud to ask any more :o(
I can't get over the fantabulosity that is your monster door. Now why didn't I think of that? I'm totally ripping off that idea next year for my kids' bedroom doors :)
I love the vocab and summaries! As someone who truly appreciates awesome wall and hall decor, I have to say you have dome a fantastic job. It makes me really miss elementary!

Holy Batman! What an awesome entry! I know you will have plenty of smiles as they follow the bats and see all of the fun you have planned.

Very cool door and your framed name!. Kudos to the kid that came up w/the word carcass!.
Very fun! You've done a better job and spent more time on your hall and classroom than I've done on my house!!
Question: Is one of the decorations going to be a rock?? A rock named, (Hagrid's spider--can't remember the name of the darn thing.:D ) .

Those are some pretty cool ideas. I love the bats!
Are we going to get to see your classroom??
Love all the bats! And the fact that you set off the fire alarm last year. :)

Hooray! There is video proof of some of the reasons you are such an awesome teacher. I got to see it in person and it looked even more fantastic.
And Rach, it's Aragog. TF, please tell me you had the rock named Aragog, it wouldn't be Halloween without him. ;)
