The kids piled from the car and immediately began to explore the desert remnants which had been left behind, by a generation long-since gone. Beaten, rusted cars became a veritable playground with limitless potential, and the childlike dreams of making the cars run again abounded with the discovery of each empty and abandoned shell.
It made me laugh.
And also made me remember the days when I used to think the exact same thing.

Isn't it amazing what a few moments and unlimited imagination can accomplish. What I wouldn't give some days to be that way again.
Without being too partial, those are some stinkin' cute kids. Thanks for capturing their personalities. You have amazing talent Mr. Z, and I am a better person because I know you! (well, mostly...)
Sweet moment captured!
I absolutely love the sense of adventure, and magic children can bring to ...a rusted out desserted car
an old empty building
the woods
it's all "possible" at that time of innocense.
great pictrure
That is the beauty of childhood right there - anything, anything can be exciting - a cardboard box can be a rocket so how exciting can an actual car wreck be? Oh yeah :-)
That's one thing I love about kids. It's like seeing the world in a totally different, yet familiar, light. Love the picture...of course!
