Need to laugh?

Pin It After reading several blogs of a very serious natures, catching a few news snippets of horrible things, and reading over a few sad emails, I felt the need to laugh.

So laugh I did.

In fact, I ended up watching this little gem 5 times through...and laughed even harder with each viewing.

Goodnight (chuckle) bloggers.

That was awesome!

I do my own version of that at home where no one other than my kids can see me. It's the only way I can get my son (sp. needs one) to switch from screaming and hitting to laughing in an instant. I have proven that I can sound just as annoying as he can. He thinks it's funny.

It's funny... I never acted like this as a kid (you can even varify this with my mother) but I find myself doing it as an adult. LOL

I keep waiting for an opportunity to reproduce that commercial with my kids but they are being so well-behaved lately. Darn it!

That's pretty dang funny. I wonder if I can get away with doing that to my kids (when I have any). I feel bad for them already, I'll be a huge embarrassment.

I really don't know what's so funny. I've done this a few times with my own children. It's pretty effective. Am I a minority??

DV - I need it too every once and awhile...

T - I love the way the mom gives the look at the end like, "Okay, are we finished yet?"

FS - Sometimes you have to do what you can, you know?

Gerb - Have one of your 'behaving' kids record it on your cellphone...I'd love to see the recreation.

Uncle D - I bet you could test it out on the nephews and nieces.

Bee - Really? Whoa...you are even more cool than I thought before.

I actually did that once when Trevor was about 5. He was having a fit, so I had a bigger fit in the hall way. He was like a statue! He just froze. Afterwards, I just started laughing because I couldn't hold it in any longer. He realized what I was doing and went and cried on his bed! He was mad at me, but not throwing a fit! I went and talked to him about how funny they looked after he sulked for a few minutes. His fits weren't as often after that. I still can't believe I did that. I think I read it somewhere, or someone told me to try it. I am sure I looked super silly! It makes me laugh, just thinking about it! Thanks for the clip, it brought back memories, and put a smile on my face for the day!
