Leave a comment over there to let me know that you stopped by. Please don't be disinclined to acquiesce to this request; if you don't, you might just have to walk the plank, matey...

I like that the wordplay comes with a visual. Nice touch, especially since it contains Calvin and Hobbes.

R - Sink or swim, I'd love to have you come by.

C - I'll see you there, okay?

L - Calvin and Hobbes...does life really get any better than that?

A cartoon as funny as this, deserves another click to go and read and comment on another blog.

Jason, my thoughts exactly. Although I am quite satiated with several children's books that have a likeness to 'ol Calvin and Hobbes.

J - I give it my best shot...

D - I have a story about trying to swim, too. One day, I'll tell it.

L - Thanks for heading over to check it out.

L - Isn't C&H truly amazing? I have yet to find a comic which can hold a candle to it.

So.... now I wonder...

Did YOU talk like a pirate on "Talk like a Pirate Day"?

FS - I didn't. I can only take things so far on Pirate Day; however, I do talk that way a few times a week to my 5th graders. It makes them laugh.
