You’ve Got Mail
You’ve Got Mail
Today had a glorious morning.
It was chilled and there was just a touch of frost on the ground. It was absolutely fantastic. I drove to work with the windows down and the music playing.
I couldn’t help but smile the entire way there.
When I arrived at school I was greeted yet-again with a beautiful bouquet I received yesterday from a friend of mine. I’m so glad that she knew my name and address.
They kept the smile with me all day.
Thanks, T.

Wow that is pretty creative, You should leave that on your desk and see what the kids say.
I want one of those....I seriously need to steal your friends. I admit that is also my favorite line from "You've Got Mail"....I just loved the imagery of a bouquet of yellow #2 pencils tucked in amongst other school supplies.
I guess its more fun wanting to buy school supplies and reminisce about autumn when you aren't struggling against other back-to-school moms for the last Hannah Montana backpack and lunchbox.
Wow! You have awesome friends!
Now, that's cool. Little surprises like that are always fun to get.
this is the most wonderful time of the year! nothing like cool, crisp air. your arrangement is so cool. so creative .
Wow! What a great friend T is. I wish I had one of those for my desk. BTW, how do you keep the kids from stealing them????
What a neat idea! This crafty girl is going to make one this weekend.
Yeah for happiness! I love this time of year! What a fun surprise.
That is so cool! Thats a great idea. And the pictures were very well taken, in my opinion.
Shosh - Glad you stopped by...and yes, the kids were REALLY impressed.
Shoe - Hannah Montana...ugh...
Kris - I've got a few of 'em.
Gerb - You could say that again...it's also fun to get 'larger' gifts, if you know what I mean.
Cari - This is one of my favorite times of the year, immediately followed by my least favorite--winter.
Bee - Luckily I have a pretty honest class this year--at least, so far.
IG - Try it out. I wouldn't dare it myself as I am not so creative with crafty stuff...I tend to mess it up.
Jewels - It was Christmas!
Jake - Thanks. I'll have to pass along your compliment to the person who brought it in, who, as usual, wishes to remain anonymous.
Now THAT is totally cool! Did T make that?
Creative, fun, and won't die anytime soon. What more could you ask for?
Even more practical than a shiny apple! Now you can make a pie and write your next story.
What a seriously great gift that is. One day you & Cheeseboy will have to do a post telling us what are great teacher gifts and what aren't.
Here you are, Tammy...in all it's glory:
