I wasn't going to go into teaching either! I was going to go into a nice clinic or hospital, maybe a school for the deaf. But NO public education. Funny how things change with time.
OK that was pretty hilarious and a little too true - Ugh! When I was a little girl for some reason I wanted to be a Judge??? - I know but I really did. Then when I first went to college I decided I would be a nurse, that was until I had to cut open a cadaver and realized that I was so grossed out that there was no way I could be a nurse. I'm and mom and a lunch lady! I also went to school to be a teacher (that's what I changed my major too) but still have about 20 classes to finish. Maybe someday.
Ever since 1st grade I told everyone I wanted to be a nurse. I even put it as my major when I went to Ricks (now, BYU-Idaho). But that quickly fizzled. I've watched those nurses jam needles into my kids' legs and shove things in my childrens throats and up their nose...and I'm kind of glad it's not me. Now I don't know what they heck I'll be when I grow up, but I'd better figure it out soon!
I wanted to be a truck driver and a zoo keeper and a veterinarian among other things when I was young, young.
Then as I got a little older I wanted to become an old spinster aunt who some how was independently wealthy (how I was going to get that way I have no idea) and who lived on the East Coast. Then when each of my 25 nieces and nephews hit age 16 I was going to fly them out to spend the summer with me.
When I was a kid I wanted to be a scientist or an astronaut. When I was in middle school I wanted to be a computer programmer. When I was in high school, I wanted to be an electronics teacher ('cause I had an awesome electronics teacher).
I grew up to be a tax accountant.
If I didn't have to worry about money or anything obnoxious like that, I would love to be a National Park Ranger.
I wanted to be a mortician or a medical examiner. I know creepy, right? Then it changed to a social worker and ended up as a nurse. But at the top of my list was always a stay-at-home mom and don't you know, I reached the top! And the top is a great place to be.

A Mom! Seriously. That is all I've ever wanted to be....

"I want to have a brown nose"- that's what I always wanted too.
And the second video was great!
I wanted to be a doctor until I realized that organic chemistry was not my destiny.
;)
Sunshine blown up my dress is sounding better and better as a career choice.
I think I wanted to be a blogger... of course, back then everyone thought I was crazy...
I agree w/T.. sunshine up the dress sounds heavenly....lol
Those both were great.
When I was really young I wanted to be a famous actress and a mom.
When I was in high school I wanted to be a nurse and a mom.
I ended up being a dental assistant, aerobics instructor and a mom.
At least one of my wants came true.
When I was a kid, all I ever wanted to do was play the piano and live on a road that was paved. Seriously, those were my dreams!
I'd lay awake at night and literally DREAM of places in the world that had paved roads...and I would own a home there and play the piano all day long.
Yep...I was a weird kid.

I wanted to be an actress! Then a child psychiatrist. Now I'm doing both but not getting paid for either. Go figure.
I wanted to be a Charlie's Angel. Seriously.

That was my dream.
Maybe I can do that with my grandkids.

Both of those are fun-ny!

According to what I wrote on my bio when I was in a beauty contest in the fifth grade - a microbiologist.
I was a deep kid. I turned out to be a corporate trainer. Same thing.
Thanks for visiting my blog!
I wanted to be a fire truck.
Go ahead. Make fun of me.
