Well, I suddenly felt this craving for tortellini soup and decided that I’d better take a crack at making it myself. I will admit that a part of me never made this before because of fear…I was afraid that it would probably be horrible-tasting and also a colossal waste of my time when it didn’t turn out.
Well, last Sunday the call was much too great and I gave into my desire for tortellini soup. As the smells of sautéed mushrooms and basil wafted about the kitchen mingled with the odors of Italian sausage and onions, I knew I’d made an EXCELLENT decision.

Well, they would be impressed because it looks great. There are all things that we have not done because of fear. You are not alone in that. I'm glad you did it...I know you love this stuff.
You should impress me. Because I'm hungry :) Yum.....
So, MG's tortellini soup (a favorite around here, too!), Chunk-a-poos, and what other 2 things can you make to impress others?
Hi Jason,
Just started following your blog and it is fun to see what you are up to. This looks delicious.
Cheers,
Graton
You are very clever. I won't make it if it can't be made in a sandwich maker. ; )
That looks so yummy! So, are you going to share this recipe or will it remain a secret like the chunk-a-poos?
it's amazing how looking at a photo you can almost smell the aroma of everything - thanks for sharing :)
Coming from someone who savored that soup for two meals (and loving every freaking bite!) I can honestly say your tortellini soup recipe beats mine hands down...you have got to share! Funny thing is I was just thinking I should mention that soup in a blog but you beat me to it!
Jewels,
It was sooooooo good. I can't even begin to tell you...
Emmy,
All you and Jae need to do is set up a time and I'll set you both up.
Gerb,
Isn't it the bomb? As for other recipes, I've mastered Gourmet Chicken and Chicken Zucchini. Of course, there is also cold cereal and toast...always big hits with me!
Sparky,
Long time no see, buddy! I'm glad you stopped in...I knew you'd one day show up.
Shay-Shay,
I guess you could make it in one of those, however, you'd probably be in for a HUGE mess.
Cari,
The Chunks are most certainly a secret but the Tort. Soup is not. If you want it, stop in sometime and it's yours.
Lord of Summer,
Let me know what you think of it once you've tried it, okay? I can only think of the words, "freakin' amazing" right off the top of my head...
Shoe,
I thought maybe you'd blog about Valentine's Day but I guess I didn't make all that big of an impression on you...bummer. I'll just have to try harder next year then.
As for the soup, it tastes even better with some Parmesan Cheese mixed in and a couple of slices of garlic bread...hmmmmm.
Jase,
Check out today's blog...I was editing an image for it.
I'd love the recipe!
Shoe,
