When I was on my trip to Spokane I decided to visit an old friend.
It had been a long time since we’d been around each other. I couldn’t believe just how much she’d stayed the same, just how good she was still. It was like not a moment had passed. Though I myself had new lines on my face and had gained weight, my friend hadn’t changed in the slightest.
She was still just as sweet and wonderful as I remembered. She also seemed to have this breathtaking aroma which wafted about the very air around her. She is, I must say, unforgettable.
I’m glad we were able to reconnect again.
Unfortunately, Safeway is the only place I’ve been able to find this delectable delight, and sadly, Safeway does not exist in Utah.
Curses.

The Master of Chunk-a-poo Cookies should be able to duplicate that one! :)
Now I am in the mood for cookies, or even some dough...A little Poo sounds pretty good right now!
Smile...

You would be so jealous that I myself got to make these horrible little devils for a time when I was working in the Safeway bakery for a time about a year ago. good times. but I must conffess I am sick of cookies and sweets and treats. Oh well. I do recall a carmel something or other some one use to make that I would love to taste right about now. Hope all is well.
Son,
You had me going with this one...who was this Dear Old Friend still as sweet and wonderful as you had remembered and unforgettable.... I was seeing a wedding in the future. Then I read on and remembered the connection you had with a cookie!
Well eat your heart out, I see your Dear Old Friend three to four times a week....
Love Dad
Ah, Safeway! The home of my beloved chocolate chocolate chip muffins! No one else makes them quite like Safeway. Your friend looks mighty fine, too. I'm sure we could get along.
Nothing like Dad to 'rub it in.' Maybe could just put your 'Dear Old Friend' in the mail every few weeks. ...
