Pin It A photo can speak a thousand words, so I will therefore let a few of my favorite images from Saturday's wedding photoshoot speak for themselves...

I like the combination of some soulful, some silly. All wonderful.

Congratulations to your bro! She's a lucky gal. And I'm particularly fond of red heads ;)

My favorite is the bride in the foreground in focus with the fall-colored foilage out of focus in the background. Gorgeous! We've got you booked in February, right?

I love red heads, too. Picture #7 has to be my fav. You really bring out the best in people.

The picture of your brother gagging over the kissing parents (I assume) will forever be my favorite wedding picture. That is hilarious. Great work!

Grandpa and grandma Scott were smiling down on that one indeed! I love the expression in all. Good work my man. And Congrates to the newlyweds!

Son,
Great work even with the bad weather.... Looks like I need to lose a couple hundred pounds....but standing next to Yancy what do I expect.....
Its true your grandparents would be proud of you and grandpa would be saying I'd best be hanging up my camera and let the master move in....
Love, Dad

Yancy and Leah are so fortunate to have you capture these moments that can never be repeated. Thank for saving these life experiences for the whole family. Grandpa is doing his little dance :)
Have you ever considered photo journalism? If so, you have another career waiting!!

Nettle - Thanks, it ended up being a much better shoot than I'd anticipated.

T - You betcha...is there something special in Feb?

ST - Thanks. I can't really pick a favorite as there were too many, however, there are a few...

Gerb - LOL. It was fun to get a few candids in there too.

Kris - I sure do miss Grandpa sometimes...this is one of them.

Uncle D - If I could redo your wedding with my new camera and experience, I think it would have been much better. When you two decide to tie the knot again just for fun, be sure to let me know.

Nels - Good alternative, I'd say.

Meem - I sent it. Hope it works well with your visual motif.

MW - I think they all turned out pretty good. The cloudy weather turned out to be nice to avoid harsh shadows and squinting. Also, the benefits of acquiring a new flash...

KJ - Thanks.

SL&B - Thanks for stopping by. I'll be getting a disk to Yancy & Leah soonish.

Mom - I'm glad they asked. As for the PJ, yes, I'd considered it...not sure what kind of a living there is to be made with that around here...

I just wanted to leave you a pity quote since no one else seems interested in the pictures . . . anyhow, great pictures, cousin. I'll pretend I didn't see that one of your parents kissing.

Eliguinnos - Actually, they are my sister-in-law's parents. I pretended not to see them too...

I was reading C Jane's blog and saw your photo heading it. So cool! How wonderful to see Yancy's wedding. Give him our congrats. You really have a unique style. Colors, expression, feeling, all very vivid. Someday the Gathrights will be immortalized in our own original "Zimmerman!"
