The Vessel

Pin It A single vessel on a stormy sea
so sail the tides do I
Far from the safe port which
once so gently housed me.

Left to the vastness of waves
which threaten to capsize
and sash against the cold, silent
sea bottom below.
I rise yet again
refusing defeat.

I would have been lost many times if not for a tandem vessel...
Some times its been my Heavenly Father steading me against the threating storms of life, at times its a good friend whom if we just had one we would be blessed, and last a companion, one who will stand by you even during the worst threating storms of life.

You're so deep Jason. Love the last person's comment. You gotta hop aboard some cute girls' boat and ride the ocean together! It's way easier!

Beautiful poem. Did you write this? Great song!

Words of wisdom, I have none, but here's to getting through it alive!

World spins madly on - I love the title of that song. There have been times I am amazed by the vastness of the world I am just a small part of. 'I watch the stars from my window sill. The whole world is moving and I'm standing still...' Loved that line. And the poetic words at the beginning.

Just find the lighthouse and the storms are manageable. :)
