So I did.
I thought they turned out pretty good. It is funny, however, when Raymond’s friend (I’ll call him Jackson) tried to give Raymond a ride on his back, he couldn’t quite hold up his friend’s weight (being over three times heavier than he was).
It made me laugh.
By the way, I think that I don't enjoy taking photos of babies too much. Kids are so much easier; at least they listen to you...well, sometimes.

You really know how to capture kids. I love the one of the boys with their guns looking all serious and that last one of the little girl. Great shots!
Last year I took fall pictures of Gage&his friend. They were both babies at the time(kinda) and I think that it was so easy. The pictures came out awesome. People asked me if I had them professionally done. Haha. Yeah, so I'm not looking forward to doing it this year. They are both toddlers now and crazy!
oh yeah your pictures look awesome! I would 86 the gun picture though. Thats scary!
LOL! The gun pict is one of my favorites. I wish the guns looked more like water pistols (green, yellow, red etc...). Their realness is a bit scary for how young the boys are.
I have quite a few decent picts of my kids when they were babies. It is difficult though. (catch them when they're sleeping) I started off with my 35mm Olympus om10 camera and burned through a LOT of dud pictures. I am grateful for digital cameras now. I just don't have a decent one yet. I have a sweet spot for Canons. I use Photoshop to fix things a bit... typically exposure and lighting color differences.
Hey Zim, Becky's maiden name is Reed. Sorry it's not who you think it is. She's wonderful though. Definitely someone that all persons in the universe should know. BTW, great pics.
Free advice: You just need to get the parents to act stupid and pictures of babies will turn out great.
Shoe - It always helps when you take over 200 photos. You can usually find one or two which work out.
Meg - I'd love to see the shots you took. I was standing behind this lady who was at Sam's Club placing a photo order. I glanced at the screen and found myself impressed by her photos. When I asked who'd done them, she said she had...
Never underestimate the photo power of a parent.
FS - I let them use the guns because they were playing with them earlier. Their parents let them use them...of course, it helps when your mom and dad are both in the Army.
Jamie - Bummer...
Gerb - Yeah, that would probably work best instead of me shaking a stuffed teddy bear and saying, "Hey, look over here, baby."
Less effective.
