Isn’t it wonderful to check your Google Reader, Feedburner, or bookmarks to your favorite sites online and find that there are new blog entries to read?
That’s exactly how I feel. There are times I feel that they are a friendly hello from a dear, old friend who’s been thinking of me—they must be, after all, I know that I’ve been thinking of them.
Like a breath of fresh air, there is their update. I now know the gender of their newest baby-to-be, their bowling score, the play that they are going to attend, or even have an update on their tree which has been christened as ‘Butterball.’
Ah, the world of blogging—yet another way of making and keeping connections.
Thank heaven for it.
Whatever did we do before?

Couldn't agree more!
Its so funny how excited I get to read new entries...kinda silly really...but definitely something I look forward to.
I have to say for about the billioneth(sp?) time...you are one talented guy!
I have no clue what we did before, but don't you LOVE it?!?!?
We must have had to call eachother all the time. With the size of my family blogging is much more efficent. And now I keep closer contact with friends too.
I don't know what we did before...but it wasn't nearly as fun!
I used to clean my house & serve dinner on time. Thank you, Blogging!
I do love reading blogs! Your is my favorite! You write things that really hit home for me.

i can't help but wonder (with the use of "yet another...") that this post may be a silent jab at my lack of posting...or perhaps it's an encouragement in response to my most recent posts.
I'm coming back. Slowly but surely.
Trish - I'm glad you stop by occasionally...glad to hear that we also both share the same fetish for blogging.
DS - I think we just didn't keep up on each others' lives, to be honest...
Lydia - Calling has become easier with the advent of cellphones and no long distance fees...that was always a killer.
Jewels - Amen, sister!
Gerb - I guess there are a lot of things I used to do before blogging as well--such as writing on stories. Blogging is much more gratifying.
KJ - Keep coming back...when people do, it gives me a reason to write. Also, thanks...
Yancy - Well done. 'He's my brutha!'
